Inspired by the victory gardens of WW2, “Dig for Victory,” is an installation made from RISO printed handmade seed papers that plays with the concept of subsistence farming as artistic gesture. When buried beneath the soil and watered, the papers will sprout, but the art object is then destroyed.

“Drink with Me” is a participatory project. Pictorial instructions for folding a cup are printed on card stock. A stack of unfolded cups replaces all other drinking vessels at an event. If someone would like a drink, they must fold their own cup.

“Mixt tapes” refers to the Catalan small plates, appetizers and snacks, while “Mix tapes” are the compilation of songs recorded onto the now antiquated cassette tape format. The project, developed while a Gaia Studio Wonder Women resident, and realized at Gallery Aferro, brings together food and music.
