As the culmination of our six-month residencies in the Museum of Art and Design’s Artist Studios, Johnathan Payne, Christian Moses, and myself will each be giving artist talks and opening up our studios at MAD. Come see what I’ve been up to!
Conceptually Green at Arts Warehouse Delray
I’ve been working on a new sewn RISO piece for a few months now. It’s finally done, and I’m so grateful to have it included in “Conceptually Green,” curated by Dana Donaty and Renee Phillips (RAD Curatorial) at Arts Warehouse in Delray Beach, Florida. It’s open now and runs through April 20, 2024.
Artist-in-Residence at the Museum of Arts and Design
On August 24th, I began a 6th month residency at the Museum of Arts and Design (MAD), and I brought the RISO! “MAD's Artist Studios program invites visitors to ask questions, view works in progress, and gain firsthand exposure to the creative process of resident artists and designers working on site at the Museum. The residents represent diverse experimental creative practices and participate in a wide range of intergenerational public programming.” I have public hours from 10:30AM - 5:30PM on Thursdays. Come visit and make some prints!
Art on Paper at The Weatherspoon
I’m honored to have my work included in Art on Paper at the Weatherspoon Art Museum in Greensboro, NC, curated by Dr. Emily Stamey. “A time-honored museum tradition, the exhibition features the work of artists who demonstrate the breadth of ways in which one can deploy the humble medium of paper to extraordinary ends.” The show runs through April 6, 2024.
